Well, I've formally made it onto the web. I have been meaning to set up an informational site for some time now. With ski season winding down, I've finally found time. Although I briefly flirted with some more ostentatious CSS designs , I came to the conclusion that something simple and of my own design was the best solution. Hopefully you will appreciate the rather minimalist appearance. If you encounter any problems with the page, please contact me at webmaster@knutericjoslin.com . I have tried to avoid any deprecated mark-up, but I'll be the first to admit that I am not sufficiently informed to write rigorous XHTML.

This site is primarily intended to showcase my diverse interests and experience. It provides a straightforward organization and is a convenient alternative to a traditional résumé (although a downloadable copy can be found here). However, I have also set it up for a variety of secondary reasons: (1) I have a broad range of interests and am unsure about what I intend to pursue. As I approach the next juncture in my life, I hope that the actual organizational process will guide me toward my next career move. (2) Effective communication skills are fundamental. By periodically posting content to the web, I will continue to improve both my writing and HTML. (3) Despite an aversion to confessional blogs, I plan to use this webspace to organize my opinions about various topics. Hopefully the rigor of public exposure will facilitate an increase in sophistication of ideas and understanding of the world.

While I haven't fleshed out all areas of the site, please take a look around. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
